Out of Zion
Background is everything. Unless we know why a certain book was written, we can not fully understand the intended meaning of the author. The background of the book of Romans is this: The Jews, both Messianic and traditional, were kicked out of Rome by Claudius in 49 CE (Acts 18:1-2). When they returned in 54, the Gentiles believers would not receive the Jewish believers. This is the first instance of that devilish theology, Replacement Theology. Paul seeks to correct this, bringing unity between the two and saving the Romans from judgment.
